Payment Terms & Conditions (Online School Fees Payment)
1. Scope & Acceptance
These Payment Terms & Conditions (?Terms?) govern all school fees and related
payments made through the School?s approved online payment gateway. By
initiating a payment, the parent, guardian, or payer (?Payer?) acknowledges and
agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Authorized Payment Methods
Payments may be made using the payment methods enabled on the School?s online
payment gateway, including but not limited to credit cards, debit cards, net
banking, or other digital payment options as offered from time to time.
3. Fees, Charges & Taxes
? All school fees are payable in the amounts and by the deadlines communicated
by the School.
? Any convenience fees, transaction fees, or gateway charges imposed by the
payment service provider or financial institution are the responsibility of the
Payer, unless otherwise stated.
? Applicable taxes, if any, shall be borne by the Payer in accordance with
prevailing laws.
4. Payment Confirmation & Receipts
? A payment is considered successful only upon receipt of confirmation from the
payment gateway and the School?s system.
? An electronic receipt or acknowledgment will be generated upon successful
payment.
? The School shall not be responsible for payments that fail, remain pending, or
are incomplete due to technical issues, insufficient funds, or incorrect payment
details.
5. Late or Failed Payments
? The School reserves the right to impose late fees, suspend services, or take
other administrative actions for delayed or failed payments, as per its academic
and financial policies.
? Payment obligations remain the responsibility of the Payer until successfully
settled.
6. Refund Policy
? Fees once paid are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated otherwise
by the School?s management.
? Approved refunds, if any, will be processed as determined by the School and
may be subject to administrative or gateway charges.
7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
? All payments made toward school fees represent a
legitimate and authorized
financial obligation of the student and/or parent or guardian.
? By completing an online payment, the Payer
expressly agrees not to initiate
a chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute through any bank, card issuer, or
payment service provider without first contacting and obtaining written
clarification from the School?s management or designated finance office.
? Any chargeback, reversal, or dispute raised externally shall be considered a
breach of these Payment Terms, unless proven to be the result of verified
fraud or technical error acknowledged by the School.
? All chargeback and payment dispute cases shall be reviewed and resolved
solely by the School?s management, whose decision shall be final and
binding, based on:
? Enrollment records
? Fee schedules
? Payment acknowledgments
? Academic or administrative policies
? The School reserves the right to:
? Recover the full disputed amount, including any chargeback penalties,
bank fees, gateway fees, or administrative costs incurred
? Suspend academic services, access to school portals, issuance of
certificates, report cards, or re-enrollment, until the dispute is fully
resolved
? Decline future online payment access for repeated or unjustified
chargebacks
? The Payer acknowledges that raising an unjustified chargeback does not
waive the underlying fee obligation, and outstanding amounts shall remain
payable to the School in full.
8. Fraudulent or Abusive Disputes
? Any chargeback initiated with false claims, misrepresentation, or bad faith
may be treated as a fraudulent or abusive dispute.
? The School reserves the right to pursue
administrative, contractual, or
legal remedies as permitted under applicable law.
9. Administrative Costs
? An
administrative charge may be levied for each chargeback or reversed
transaction to cover investigation and processing costs, irrespective of the
final outcome of the dispute.
10. Data Security & Privacy
? Payment transactions are processed through a secure, third-party payment
gateway. The School does not store sensitive card or banking information.
? Personal and payment-related data will be handled in accordance with the
School?s privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
The School shall not be liable for:
? Technical failures, network issues, or downtime of the payment gateway
? Unauthorized transactions arising from misuse of payment credentials by the
Payer
? Delays caused by banks, payment service providers, or third-party systems
12. Amendments
The School reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time.
Revised Terms shall become effective upon publication on the School?s website,
School?s mobile application or communication through official channels.
13. Governing Authority
All matters related to school fees, disputes, and interpretations of these Terms
shall be subject to the internal policies and administrative decisions of the
School?s management.
